If you can't afford to keep your good players, you're doomed to the same result, time after time, after time.

Trading, instead of paying your outstanding players, is just freakin' STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those players always go on to play for cup contenders, while the Preds always flounder in the first round.(If they make it that far.)

The ownership group just doesn't have enough money to make this team a contender, much less keep them here for another 5 years. The Predators are doomed to eventual failure.

You can't "rebuild" a team year after year and expect it to be successful.
