It was only preseason, but the Titans look promising with Heimerdinger back. They put a butt-whipping on the Rams, that's for sure. Can Ganther run or what!?!?  |

Running game looked good all around. What about Chris Johnson? Broke through the line and WHOOSH...he was gone.
Ganther also ran very well. Gonna be hard for the Titans to cut him, but how do they keep 4 RBs? No way will Ganther make it through waivers and back to the practice squad after that performance.
Downsides? The usual....WRs & Reynaldo Hill. He & Paul Williams should be cut.

I was expecting good things from Johnson. Ganther's contribution was the most surprising to me, though. I'm hoping for some serious production out of Crumpler. I just hope he stays healthy, and kicks it up, when regular season rolls around.
Paul Williams is definitely toast.

Geez, I'm glad it's only preseason. Titans were too sloppy against the Raiders. Vince has to step up with some consistency.

Falcon's game wasn't much better. The time for "wake-up calls" is over. Time to get their heads out of their butts and play some football.
I hope Paul Williams is gone soon. He couldn't catch a cold in December in Anchorage.

There were several receivers who dropped passes that were thrown right to them. Vince was not great, but he was better than the stats indicate.

Regarding Vince Young, he said, "every magician needs an assistant--and Vince doesn't have one." I continue to hope that things will start to click between Vince and Alge, by the time regular season begins. |

It's now the midway thru the real season and the only questions people are asking about the Titans now are: Who's next? and Vince who?
